  • Indo Count Industries, a major Indian bedding manufacturer, has acquired Wamsutta’s intellectual property (IP) from Beyond Inc. for $10.25 million. 
  • The acquisition aims to elevate Indo Count’s position in the premium market segment, not just in the U.S. 
  • Indo Count plans to explore multiple distribution channels to reach the core Wamsutta consumers and introduce a new generation to the brand’s quality and luxury.

  • Indo Count is the largest global home textile bed linens manufacturer, with a product portfolio including fashion bedding, sheets, and utility bedding. 
  • The company has received numerous recognitions, including being named the top company in India’s textiles industry for “Best Practices adopted by Textile Mills, especially in Social Responsibility & Green Practices” at the CITI Sustainability Awards. 
  • The Wamsutta brand has a long history in the U.S. market, dating back to the original Wamsutta mill’s establishment in 1846.
