  • The Commission conducted an extensive study, analyzing various constitutional and statutory provisions, judicial pronouncements, and incidents involving large-scale destruction. 
  • After in-depth deliberations, the Commission recommended amendments to the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, of 1984.
  • The report also suggested the enactment of a separate law to address the issue of prolonged wilful obstruction of public property.
