NTPC’s Moves Up In Carbon Rating For Its Water Management

  • NTPC’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Score has increased from a ‘D’ in 2022 to a ‘C’ in 2023 in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Water Security Rating. 
  • The increase is attributed to NTPC’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices, particularly in water management. 
  • NTPC’s efforts to enhance water reuse and recycling have resulted in a significant decrease in specific water consumption.
