NCGG’s Capacity Building Program for Bangladesh Civil Servants

  • The National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) conducted a capacity-building program for the 69th and 70th batches of Bangladesh’s civil servants. 
  • The program, conducted by NCGG in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), has trained 2557 officers. 
  • The program emphasized the role of Sub-Divisional Officers in land administration and the role of Deputy Secretaries in the Central Secretariat. 
  • The program also emphasized the digitalization of the central secretariat through the adoption of e-Office. 
  • Topics covered included the changing paradigm of governance, disaster management, leadership and communication, Digital India, Government e-Marketplace (GeM), Swamitva scheme, efficient public service delivery, Housing to all scheme, digital governance in healthcare, and Mudra Yojana. 
  • The program was supervised by Dr. A. P. Singh, Course Coordinator, Dr.Mukesh Bhandari, Associate course Coordinator, Shri Sanjay Duet Pant, Programme Assistant, and the NCGG capacity building team. 
  • NCGG has also imparted training to civil servants in 17 countries in partnership with MEA.
