India’s Mobile Disaster Resilience Project Selected For UN WSIS Award

  • Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has been shortlisted for the “Benefits in all aspects of life – E-environment” category of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes 2024. 
  • The project, developed by C-DOT, is an indigenously developed solution for the instant delivery of critical life-saving emergency information on mobile phones. 
  • The solution is suitable for various use cases including government directives, law and order, defense and strategies sector, and industrial sector advertising. 
  • The project was evaluated from 1000+ global entries and was chosen for the next round. 
  • C-DOT requests support for the solution, requesting votes to advance the indigenous Make in India solution to the next round. 
  • The voting process is open until 31 March 2024.
