India- Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise

  • This is the first India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise.
  • It is named ‘SADA TANSEEQ’.
  • It began at Mahajan, Rajasthan.
  • To be conducted from 29th January to 10th February 2024.
  • The Saudi Arabian contingent comprising 45 personnel is represented by Royal Saudi Land Forces.
  • Indian Army contingent comprising 45 personnel is represented by a Battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanized Infantry).
  • The aim is to train the troops of both sides for Joint Operations in Semi Desert terrain under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.

  • Establishment of Mobile Vehicle Check Post.
  • Cordon & Search Operation.
  • House Intervention Drill.
  • Reflex Shooting.
  • Slithering and Sniper Firing.
