India installed the Country’s biggest Climate Clock

  • CSIR installed and activated India’s largest Climate Clock at its headquarters in Rafi Marg, New Delhi. 
  • The event aims to raise awareness about climate change and its effects. 
  • Prof Chetan Singh Solanki of IIT, Bombay, and Founder of Energy Swaraj Foundation emphasized the need for energy literacy among citizens. 
  • Dr Shailesh Nayak delivered the CSIR AMRIT Lecture on “Unravelling the Secrets of Triggered Earthquakes: The Lighthouse Project of Scientific Drilling in Koyna.” 
  • Dr N Kalaiselvi, DG-CSIR, highlighted the importance of protecting the environment and the Energy Literacy Training provided by the Foundation.
