DRDO Provides India-Made Tools and Technology to HAL for Air force

  • DRDO’s Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) has handed over the first batch of indigenous Leading Edge Actuators and Airbrake Control Module to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). 
  • The units are part of the 83 LCA Tejas Mk1A order and are part of the Secondary Flight Control of LCA-Tejas. 
  • The components are state-of-the-art Servo-valve-based electro-hydraulic servo actuators and control modules. 
  • The production is underway at HAL’s Accessories Division, Luck now, marking a significant step towards India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities. 
  • The team of ADA, RCI, HAL, CMTI, and all participating industries are congratulated for achieving this significant milestone.
