CCI Approves Acquisition Of 100% Shareholding of Interise Investment Managers Limited

  • The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved a proposed combination involving the acquisition of 100% shareholding of Interise Investment Managers Limited by CPIH, AIL – II., and Ontario Inc. 
  • CIPH, AIL – II, and Ontario Inc. are collectively referred to as “Acquirers.” 
  • Interise Investment Managers Limited is the investment manager of IndInfravit Trust, an infrastructure investment trust in India. 
  • The proposed combination involves the acquisition of 100% of Target’s issued and paid-up share capital by the Acquirers. CIPH, AIL II, and Ontario Inc. will hold 50%, 25%, and 25% of Target’s share capital respectively.
