C-DOT and Qualcomm Partner for Innovation in India

  • Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), a public-funded research institution, plans to collaborate with Qualcomm Technologies Inc, a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, to foster innovation in India.
  • The partnership aims to support India-based developers and start-ups working on innovative products and use cases. 
  • Qualcomm will provide C-DOT with expertise, best practices, state-of-the-art technology, intellectual property training, and tools to enable Indian startups, academia, and OEMs. 
  • The collaboration aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of indigenous telecom products using Qualcomm wireless solutions and technologies. 
  • The collaboration will facilitate access for startups, OEMs, and academia with foundational chip technologies and domain experts that stimulate innovation and help them scale up their R&D efforts.
