Agriculture Integrated Command and Control Centre Inaugurated

  • Union Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Shri Arjun Munda, inaugurated the Agriculture Integrated Command and Control Centre in Krishi Bhawan, Delhi. 
  • The center is an innovation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. 
  • The aim is to empower farmers by providing them with information, services, and facilities using digital technology. 
  • The government aims to make farmers self-reliant across the country, focusing on the mantra of Minimum Government-Maximum Governance. 
  • The initiative aims to provide farmers with real-time data and analysis to resolve their problems, expand capacity, and improve crops. 
  • Farmers will also be able to avail the benefits of government schemes. 
  • The initiative is seen as an opportunity to reflect India in the 21st century and establish trust and a safe environment among farmers.
  • The initiative includes the Agri Stack initiative, a digital crop survey, and a special gift to women by the Prime Minister. 
  • The Multifunctional Centre will allow for the analysis and decision-making of all digital innovations in the agriculture sector.
