Aegis Graham Bell Awards For India’s C-DOT

  • Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) wins three awards at the 14th Annual Aegis Graham Bell Awards. 
  • The first award was shared with Google India for its pioneering ASTR Project, which analyses, identifies, and eliminates fake/forged mobile connections. 
  • The second award was for the ground-breaking CEIR solution, which revolutionizes mobile security by detecting clone IMEIs, restricting counterfeit mobile device import, and enabling the blocking and tracing of lost or stolen phones. 
  • The third award was for the Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) product, which uses quantum mechanics to create an unbreakable cryptographic protocol for unbreakable communication security. 
  • The award ceremony was attended by Dr. Raj Kumar Upadhyay, Executive Director, C-DOT, and project leaders.
