1st Flight of Fly91 Airlines Flagged Off By Minister from Goa

  • Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurates Fly91, a regional airline, marking the first flight. 
  • The airline will commence scheduled flights from March 18, 2024. 
  • The UDAN scheme, introduced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to connect tier 2 and tier 3 cities. 
  • The aviation industry is expected to increase domestic traffic to 30 crores by 2030, from 6 crores in 2014. 
  • The flights will be routed from Manohar International Airport, Goa to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jalgaon, Agatti, Pune, and Nanded, and from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune to Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded, and Goa. 
  • The aim is to enhance tourism, promote trade and commerce, and provide an affordable, safe, and hassle-free travel experience.
